            AnonD-973296, 25 Jan 2021if u want GMS, why did u buy this phone in the first place?GMS is not really a big deal for me but I was not quite happy with the photography; only the night shot is good while other shots are below expectation. Probably I don't know how to take shots but will sell it tomorrow to get the S21 ultra. My brother has the P30 Pro and it takes good portraits. If anyone has good feedback would appreciate it

              Dual space has a lot of problems and it's definitely not a solution. I tried it on my P40 Pro last night and it doesn't work. After I installed G Play, this morning when I accessed it said that my phone is not compatible with Google and it doesn't work anymore. These phone have nothing special to offer other than the camera performance to worth so much trouble to make it like a normal phone. I have been trying to sell my P40 Pro for 3 months and nobody wants it.

                Jungle Story, 25 Jan 2021Bro, try to think if you is Huawei, will you lower the pric... moreI migrated from Samsung S-series to Huawei P20 Pro few years back, then followed by my wife to P30 Pro. Then, I retired my P20 Pro when my wife got P40 Pro, and now I am using P30 Pro.
                Every of Huawei P-series that we owned produce a very good photos. (Compared to Samsung S at the same era).
                I challenged my friend (with Samsung S) to take photo in a difficult lighting condition, and Samsung is no good. Of course Samsung is playing catch-up every year (on the technology of camera) but is still tailing behind Huawei at every generation.
                I am very sad when Huawei is no longer with Google because of Trump and his allies.

Huawei get unfair treat and bully. GMS is not that valueable. The value of Huawei is reliable high tech hardware, emui, and Hisilicon. Knowing that export set warranty is troublesome but because of trust Huawei quality, so I decide to buy Mainland China set and sideload GMS. However,Global version only can install dual space for GMS. You should do more homework about GMS on Huawei phone and can't blame this phone.

Because the phone has MIU11 I cannot find the old methods that worked on P40 to work on the Mate 40. The night shot in dark seems OK but the day light photos and the portrait are horrible. I compared Xiaomi as its a good value for money but Huwaei without the GMS supposed to have a lower price than Samsung that's 2h6 its not that popular in our region in the Gulf. I offered the phone for sale and I got a 50% less value of its original price. Maybe it's just me not knowing how to take photos but for sure I will not buy a Huawei again.

What do u mean by EMUI11 updated? Mate 40 are already EMUI11 built-in! Cant install GMS? DualSpace method works on EMUI11, just under 2 minutes!

                          Are you really sure you own the device?

                            The worst mistake in my life was to buy the Huawei Mate 40 pro. The camera is just terrible and after buying it I realized that after UI11 updated, it is difficult to install GMS. The camera is just terrible. The night shot is not to every reviewer was raving about. The value for money is just so low. I was better off with buying an S20 FE or an iPhone instead of this phone. I would not recommend anyone buying a Huwaie Phone ever again. I should have even bought a Xiaomi phone instead.
