oh wow. it has almost everything like external storage (not mSD), and audio jack. might need to find myself nano memory cards. not sure about how it works because it had the size of nano sim card. it might use both sides type slot

That is why Apple can keep bleeding money from their fanbase because they only care about brand bragging rights. Android power users DO care about essential hardware features. That is why midrange phones are now more popular than the flagship.

                        And I'm using p40 pro for 8 months which has kirin 990.
                        I can say I didn't face any slow situation on app or anything else.
                        Yeah, 5nm process kirin9000 is better I know but in real life, you won't see any difference if you aren't playing high-end games, etc.
                        And most importantly Huawei is a bit better than other android brands in terms of ''keeping the smartphone fast as in the first day'' I mean even after a while kirin 990 won't be a problem.

                        If you really want kirin 9000 and have more money to spend I totally suggest mate 40 pro 4g. They are even giving a type-c headphones inside of the box.
                        Because of that my suggestion spend less money and get the mate40e 4g IF camera difference isn't a big deal for you.

                        I'm writing these because I don't think they will release mate 40 4g. If there was a 4g model of it they would release it together, today.
                        They might have thought that since the price difference between models is a bit close, that middle model mate 40 won't be needed in 4g.

                          I for one am not familiar with HarmonyOS but essentially this means there's still no google services, right?

                              If Huawei can release a Mate 40 4G variant with either the Kirin 9000 or the Kirin 9000E chipset, that would be sweet. I never care about the 5G hype since it is still not a thing here in Malaysia. I don't want to buy the Mate 40 Pro 4G because that variant doesn't have a headphone jack.
