Got it used, looking as new for 200 euros, with full original package and original 66W charger. A bargain i'd say.
Switched from S23 ultra, and honestly such a nice upgrade.
Camera, materials, looks.
Google is easily fixable, only thing missing is google wallet and some notification delay here and there (not drastic).
Other cons would be lack of 5G and E-sim, but who don't use it, it's not even noticable.

pros:
really good cameras (selfie and rear)
materials
faceid (very cool feature)
screen
powerful processor (for 2022 flagship)
ip68
dp 1.2
stereo
66w charging
ok battery
cons:
telephoto camera is darker than main camera
not amoled and not ltpo/ltps screen
2nd speaker is earpiece(frontal) speaker
no native support for google services (easy to install with microg)
8+ gen 1 is not so energyefficient and like to overheat in games
but overall its a really good phone, it feels like a flagship even today

When you use this phone you will miss nothing.
I use it for 2 years and i already miss it.
One of the greatest phones I've ever had.
Maybe i will check in use market for one.

even flagship that 3 years old does have 3.1 usb, and many of 2025 midrange phones doesn't... :/

A few of you have asked for an opinion on this phone. It's already been said, it's still a great phone, very usable in 2025. Convert it to HarmonyOS, install native Google services and yo are good to go, 99% of apps will work natively without any issues. Battery is still decent, even more so, after 2 years of heavy use, battery health dropped only 2% for me. SOC is on the same level as the Google Pixel 9, so it's relevant in 2025. If you can find it in decent shape, for $300-400, its a great bang for buck

Does any one know why the software limited the FPS to 90 in gaming that supports 120, mlbb runs 90 only and IAM pretty sure I have enabled 120 on both device and the game itself, I've noticed that even light games that support 120 only runs on 90 FPS like subway surfer and Alto's Odyssey
Anyone have the same prop here?

The battery life is great, the camera takes amazing photos, the display is stunning, and the overall performance is smooth. It feels really good in my hand too.
I have most of my Google apps working fine, except for Android Auto and Google Chrome. My banking apps are functioning without any issues, although I can't use Tap pay. To download applications, I use Aurora Store, which is like a substitute for the Google Play Store. Thanks
