Huawei Mate 70 series design and pricing leak

Huawei is rumored to launch its Mate 70 series later this year and we now have our first alleged look at the entire lineup. Like last year’s Huawei is expected to offer four devices in the Mate 70 series with the Mate 70, Mate 70 Pro, Mate 70 Pro+, and Mate 70 RS Ultimate.

In terms of design we can see the Mate 70 series will retain the large circular camera island but the placement of the sensors will be restructured. Mate 70 Ultimate will have an octagonal camera island and a more angular design compared to the rest of the lineup.

Mate 70 is expected to start at CNY 5,999 ($840) for its 12/256GB trim which is the same pricing as last year's Mate 60.

Mate 70 Pro is said to start at CNY 6,999 ($980) with the same 12/256GB configuration which also matches the Mate 60 Pro’s launch price.

Mate 70 Pro+ will start at CNY 8,999 ($1,260) with 16/256GB configuration.

Mate 70 Ultimate CNY 10,999 ($1,540) for the 16/512GB trim which would be CNY 1,000 less than the Mate 60 Ultimate.

Huawei reportedly delayed the launch of its Mate 70 series and will launch the smartphones in mid-to-late Q4 this year.
