Huawei Mate 80 Pro+ may feature dual periscope cameras
The Huawei Mate 80 series is expected to launch in China soon, and leaks continue to surface ahead of the announcement. While earlier reports hinted at a redesigned rear camera module, a new rumor now sheds light on the camera specifications of the Mate 80 Pro+.
In a post on Weibo, tipster DCS notes that the Mate 80 Pro+ will feature dual 50MP periscope cameras with one offering a medium focal length and the other a longer zoom.
The phone will also get a 1/1.28-inch 50MP primary sensor with LOFIC technology, as per the tipster. As with any early leak, it’s best to take this information with a pinch of salt until Huawei makes it official.
Huawei’s Mate 80 lineup is rumored to feature a new Kirin chipset and offer 100W fast charging support. One of the variants is also said to get an active cooling fan. We expect Huawei to share some details about the upcoming phones soon.
