Huawei Mate 80 series to offer 14-day battery life with new Outdoor mode
Huawei’s Mate 80 series is set to debut on November 25 at an event in China. After recently showcasing camera samples from the lineup, the company has now highlighted a new feature aimed at outdoor enthusiasts.
In a video posted on Weibo, Huawei reveals that the Mate 80 series will introduce a new battery-saving feature called ‘Outdoor Mode’, which promises to extend battery life for several days.
Huawei claims the new mode can deliver up to 14 days of use on a full charge. It’s an impressive figure, but we’ll have to wait for the phone’s launch to see how it holds up in real-world use.
The Huawei Mate 80 series launch event will also see the introduction of the Mate X7 foldable, and the MatePad Edge tablet.
