This is overpriced when you can buy the s7e & get ip68 & the benifit of sd card & samsungs accessories which make competition look lame. Even an s6e or s6e+ is gettable at half the price if water proofing is not important. I also think 6g ram is a waist as a samsung does just fine on 4 & from reviews it seems this has ram issues around 4.5g & kills aps like 1plus3. Too much ram & heavy background app use will cost battery life. How many apps is enough? I have 2note7s & an s7e & they hold apps fine if you have it set up right. The Chinese phones are the same but even more complicated setting up app data access & ram management. & the 2 cameras do nothing really h the Samsung camera on the note5 is just as good as is the s7&s8 camera. Focus later on after the pic has been an option for a while on samsungs camera software & hardware. Look at reviews & they should tell you the same. Im going off what I know with real testing of a p9 & redmi pro with the x25 & I see no real benifit to 2 cameras yet.peace out

using this smartphone last two weeks and everything is perfect for me. the only annoying problem is when using apps like chrome, messaging, dialer, calender etc display gets dark. is there a way to disable it?

How is the battery on this phone?
Sad it has no water resistance, but i think it will be alright. Both my old note 2 and iphone survived laying in the window in the bathroom playing music so I think this phone will survive too.

this is happens only with contacts that have been saved in gmail.
go into contact and then delete its link with merge contact.

This phone is great I am using it for quite some time and i have to admit it is just a great phone , fast charging , has a remote, amazing display and sound and have not incountered any major issues .
highly recomend it, and by the way I have tried most of the phones you name it this one is different.

Manish kumar, 23 Apr 2017Yes same problem with my phone and one very unique problem ... moreExactly Manish, i also experience the same issue with contacts, the name of the actual contact will be displayed as someone else's name, when i delete, it will be fixed but after some time it will be the same again. i think there is issue with contact syncing.
2 days back i received a software update but it did not fix any issues.
Hope the next software update 5.1 will fix the issue.
By the way did you bring the phone to Huawei service center already?

just checked this phone out at stores. Was not impressed by this phone on pictures but now seeing it in real life actually change my mind. Feels sleeker and more premium than the P10 plus. I would pick this over the P10 plus unless someone is interested in the very slight camera upgrade or the green and blue colors of the P10 plus.
