Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design available for pre-order in the UK
The Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design is a beautiful phone – some like it better than the P20 Pro that it was based on what with the lack of a notch and the addition of an under display fingerprint reader. But beauty comes at a price, specifically a high one.
Clove UK has started taking pre-orders at £1,692. As you can probably tell, this is for the reasonable 256 GB version, the 512 GB one is not available (which would be over £2,000).

And it’s only coming in Black, the Red version is exclusive to China. Units will be available in two weeks (starting after April 23). Note that Porsche-Design.com says units will be available in May. It’s priced €1,550, so it’s cheaper (by about one mid-range Android phone).

have I missed something. looks the same as s9plus. may as well get the s9plus as its cheaper and the 40 mp doesnt seem to make a huge difference on this phone compared to iPhone X and Sammy and google pixel. flop

It's a luxury phone built for exclusivity. Huawei don't expect it to be competing with regular phones. It's competition is other luxury phones like Vertu.
