Anyway, for that achievement from 7nm you need some magical spice in the chip, snd that is obviously a Hypertreading. That magic improve performance by 21%. I wish that to be included in measurement on Antutu, coz it's a 1st in the world chip with it. Marvelous engineering of chip, awe Huawei HiSilicon.

n my opnion i think this chipset is different and better than that old version of kirin 9000.
if we check antutu scores on old version of kirin 9000 you can see this results:
cpu=189670 gpu=287962 mem=126589 ux=89384
total score=693605
now lets check antutu score of new version kirin 9000s:
cpu=279677 gpu=0 mem=225491 ux=194615
total score=699783
so as you can see the cpu,mem and ux is much higher than old kirin.
the cpu,mem and ux scores are around snapdragon gen 2!!!
so if we imaging a high score for huawei new gpu like 500000 which you can find on snapdragon gen 2 smartphones then it is really compareble with snapdragon gen 2.
you can find such a score on snapdragon gen 2:
cpu=261886 gpu=538823 mem=236163 ux=175302
total score=1212174
so this kirin 9000s is much better than kirin 9000.
and we may expect that huawei gpu maleoon 910 might be about 500000 or even much higher like 600000 or 800000.
we know when huawei do something,it will be best :)

The P70 series will probably offer another innovation. I like foldable models and from what I've seen, the Mate X3 does a good job in terms of camera performance. The Mate X5 is probably similar. If we can see models with new Kirin processors globally, I would love to buy them.

as for now i am wait ing for huawei to make another
minimum of 10x optical 7680fps like on the p40pro+
and it should be available in the next p70 series/
mate70 series now that their kirin chipset is back

Overall, Kirin outperforms in many aspects.
Maybe Snapdragon was the leading tech in 2018~2020 but now its due time another takes the challenge to topple them.
Samsung tried but pathetically limped away at a corner with its Exynos deliberately crippled by themselves so as not to outperform the US sanctions.
If not, Samsung would also be one of the best few now with their own creates.
Same for Sony phones before the degraded to current pathetic state where even their own citizens don't wanna use them but go for iPhone instead.

They did a very successful job and faced the US embargo. Then they continued to release products with 4G modem-supported processors and again presented many innovations first. Now they are back with the 5G supported chip. They introduced the first hyperthread-supported 8-core 12-thread processor to the market. In a few years they will be leading the technology. That's why I miss Kirin and Huawei
