The back houses a 50MP main cam with an RYYB sensor and with f/1.4-f/4.0 variable aperture alongside a 48MP periscope telephoto with 4X optical zoom and a 5cm super macro mode. The third shooter is a 40MP ultrawide with autofocus. Huawei also added an Ultra Chroma Camera, which captures 1.5 million spectral channels for richer and more true-to-life colors in your photos.

The chipset situation is a bit complicated due to geopolitical reasons but the latest reports point to an in-house Kirin 9020 which is the same chip found in the Mate 70 series phones.

It allegedly features a 12-core CPU with 2x prime cores at up to 2.5GHz, 6x middle cores at up to 2.1GHz and 4x efficiency cores at up to 1.6GHz. Some but not all of these CPU cores have hyperthreading. The GPU side is covered by the Maleoon 920 clocked at 840 MHz. Again, Huawei hasn’t confirmed any of these specs, so take them with a few grains of salt.

The software front is covered by EMUI 15, while the silicon-carbon battery comes in at 5,110 mAh and supports 66W wired, 50W wireless, and 7.5W reverse wireless charging.

Pricing in for the solitary 12/512GB trim is set at €1,999. Deliveries are scheduled to start on January 6.
