Nobody is saying Huawei was the first one to do so. But just have the first 'commercial" trifold phone "available." There is a diffrence! Worry less if someone is a "Chinese phone fan" but more so what's written. You're letting your emotion swayed your literacy.

I'm really grateful to Huawei for taking the bold step to bring this beast forward. It was a 10 before I saw the specs. It's still an 8 tho

I'm honestly surprised at the weight. For its size, dats a decent weight and respectable build
I'm only not so impressed with the 7nm chipset and 5600mAh battery. With that much space maybe they could fit two batteries. One plus did that
Still can say that it's a solid step and a pen would really round everything up

          for chinese ppl
the more important things is decoupling with american chip...
          not using faster cpu
if chinese brand use american chips to make phone ,although can get the phone faster
but Chinese brand will lose independence.
greedy qualcomm will dominate the chinese android phone market.
there will never be chinese-own faster chip
the price is too high for all chinese

Samsung made the prototype first, they just didn't want to launch it, even though Huawei is launching it doesn't mean they were the first to innovate or create it. Fans like you should really consider therapy 🤦🏾‍♂️

Huawei is a game changer. I really hope I can buy one in the US

Very interesting, but i can already imagine how it drop and the cost of repair if it is possible to fix this. Phones are getting more expensive and more fragile.

What baffles me is the fact that they made this revolutionary new phone with an insane 10 inch tri fold display, and then proceeded to ruin it by putting a hole in said display.

GreatnessZ, 10 Sep 2024One would think this phone doubles the battery life to 1000... moreOne would not think it would have a 10k mAh battery simply because it folds twice. Not unless one has less than half a brain.

This thing is only 0.7mm thicker than the Fold 6 despite having a whole extra layer of folding screen and a 27% larger battery. It's a miracle they even managed that. Are you slow? How are you incapable of comprehending the fact that this design leaves less room for the battery than a single fold design?

They make a new era type phone and use 7nm SoC tabrication? I dont understand norhing these days. Apple shows new phone and it has 40w charging. In 2024.

You may not be the fan of Huawei but right now the only legitimate thing that a lot may complain about would be the price basing that on the size of their pockets

Ren, 11 Sep 2024Highly overpriced with a huge problem... The processor is v... more😂 😅😅 I laughed first because you've never used it but you're already judging it's performance. No matter how high those so called high end processors a phone may possess, self appointed experts forget that ot only boils down to 'can it handle what's being required of it' and of course customer satisfaction. A mobile device may have the processing power of a server farm but won't meet customer expectations. This isn't chip or processor Olympics. As all already know, its not the cameras with the highest numbers of pixels that take the best photos or at least the ones that meet customer expectations or satisfaction. You can't judge a these devices performance based on the how other ones
