jiyen235, 10 Sep 2024this phone STILL has a larger battery, better cameras AND a... moreWell, Huawei had a first-gen foldable back in 2020 with the Mate Xs, and that one was just as much as a prototype as the first Galaxy Fold. Not to mention Huawei refused to even release spare parts for it.
So if you've got a Mate XS that's still functional today, good for you. But if not, well that's $2400 and a worthless piece of e-waste down the drain.

It�... moreProbably not a good idea to go for this yet since it's the first of its kind, for all we know it could have durability issues despite being a high quality cutting edge device from Huawei, and the repair and maintenance costs are eye watering too, I'd stay away from it but I don't really have 3k USD so i can't be the judge lol

Im so tempted upgrading my nubia z40 ultra to this.
It's been a long time since i used a tablet. And pocketable 10 inch device sound so interesting.
But that price tho... 😭 its more expensive than all my current mobile devices combined!
Or maybe should i wait until zte make a cheaper alternative 🤔
But so far the most robust tablet is either ipad or huawei.

Cool form factor aside, I don't think I'd buy it even If I have all the money in the world. Durability has always been a major concern for folding phones like these. So I just don't see myself paying an astronomical amount of money right now for a phone that falls apart easily... and costs the same as a regular flagship phone for repairs.

Rick, 19 Sep 2024I'm already using Mate 30 pro 5G for more than 4 years... morenot some of new phone many new phone cant match with Mate30Pro Huawei will never make phone like that again.
That phone is truely from future !
