Caviar unveils Huawei Mate XT Ultimate with an 18k gold body weighing about 1 kg, costs over $100k
In September, Caviar - known for its custom luxury devices - announced the customized Huawei Mate XT Ultimate in Black Dragon and Gold Dragon versions, with the latter covered with 24k gold. Now, the brand has unveiled one more custom Mate XT Ultimate, but this one has an 18k gold body.

It looks the same as the Gold Dragon version but weighs about 1 kg. Cost is over $100,000 (€95,890/INR8,539,350), and Caviar told us "it was specially made as one piece limited edition for the extra-rich client from the US," which is why it's not listed on their website.
The 24k gold model, launched with a starting price of $14,500 (€13,905/INR1,238,205), is now available with a base price of $17,340 (€16,630/INR1,480,725). Caviar will make 88 units of these since 88 is considered a lucky number in Chinese culture.
The standard Mate XT Ultimate launched by Huawei weighs about 300 g and starts at CNY19,999 ($2,740/€2,630/INR233,925). It's currently China-exclusive, but an international launch is slated for Q1 2025.

When someone has $100k to spend on a phone, then at some point they probably paid someone unfair or asked unfair prices compared to what they offered. Pretty simple imo
