Huawei Mate XTs to launch in new colors, pre-reservation goes live

The Huawei Mate XTs tri-fold smartphone is scheduled to be unveiled on September 4 in China. In the lead-up to the launch, the company has shared a few teasers online showcasing the foldable and confirming new details.

The Mate XTs is teased in two new colors compared to last year’s Mate XT, which was available in Red or Black options. In the teasers, the foldable is seen in a new purple shade and a white option. The teasers also reveal that the Mate XTs will support stylus input.

Meanwhile, the Mate XTs is also available for pre-reservation via the official Huawei online store in China. The store listing confirms the four color options, namely - Dark Black, White, Hibiscus Purple, and Ruihong Red.

According to the online store, the upcoming foldable will be sold in 16GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB variants.

The Huawei Mate XTs is rumored to be powered by a Kirin 9020 SoC, which could offer satellite connectivity. It is also expected to offer improved rear cameras and could cost the same as its predecessor.
