And as an owner of a tablet with kirin 9000s, I can say if it's not gaming, you will be completely fine, but of course if it's gaming you are after, Huawei isn't the smartest choice obviously.(And let's be honest, no one buys this beauty for gaming)

for the price the specs seem incredibly underpowered, sure you get a tri folding phone but with a cpu that looks comparable to a mid range snapdragon from 3 years ago

Unfortunately Huawei will launch Kirin 9030 for Mate80 series at Oct/Nov 2025.
It means Huawei think customer who will buy Mate XTS don't care about processor performance.
It even get ￥2000- cheaper that Mate XT.

These new color options are taking this to the other of a work of art. You could set the purple or black gold version up as an accent point next to any high end upholstery lighting etc heh

Very beautiful, and innovative phone. Bravo Huawei you deserve the money. I still have a Huawei p10 lite, and still works. Bravo!

They make a display-focused phone with 2 folds that will allow you to orient the beefy main cameras towards you while being able to see the display... and what do they do?
They ruin the display, the entire focus of the phone, by putting a hole in it for a cruddy useless camera.
