I bought this 2021 and still using it now (2023) no regrets, performance enough to me im a bit of a heavy user but it can handle. No heating issue, battery is great, sound is great, display is nice, build is good.
If google is your problem there's a lot alternatives. Yesterday i just installed Google Maps and surprised because it works fine.

We have now 2 of these in family. Apsolutely fast, smooth, great screen and batery sound perfect. Youtube you can watch via browser. I think I installed all of the apps I needed. I use here maps instead of googlemaps. Works with netflix and primevideo that I use. If you like pen go with matepad 11 with pen bundle since pen is expensive.
I purchased it for little more than 200€. I think this is best buy. It runs on this chinese branded software HarmonyOS but actually this is 100% Android. Some of apps are not available and you cannot cast to google cast but I heard you can install google services. I didn't since I don't need it. Super hardware, software you get what you get. I would recommend to enthusiasts and not heavy users searching for cheap and good device.

It's supper terrible, I realized I can't use YouTube, zoom, Google meet and other important apps on the phone because HUAWEI wants me to use only the apps provided by Huawei store its super sad and terrible

This Huawei Matepad 10.4 is not that good,.. It has limited wifi connection and all. What can you guys recommend for much snappier tablet...
