I got the chance to try this tablet today. I was really impressed, borderline shocked.
This tablet blurs the line between a laptop and a tablet. I have made my decision to get it. I wanted a new laptop and a new tablet, and this would cover both. Here are a few things.
1. Despite the CPU being less than the top of the top (Gen 8 Elite, Apple Bionic), it still works amazingly well quick. Everything opens instantaneously. The optimization godly.
2. The mouse and keyboard turn it into true laptop-like experience. All the common windows keyboard shortcut worked. You don't miss a beat.
3. the PC-like WPS office suit is just that. PC-like indeed.
4. The Huawei Note app was good, and the pen, despite being bigger (I'm coming from a Samsung Tab S7+), it felt comfortabel to write with although the tip was relativity harder.
5. It has both the Huawei app store and the Google Store!
6. Harmony OS is wonderful. It combines Android with Windows, and it looks like an iOS.
Unfortunately, because of this still-unknown processor, I don't think it wil be a good device for heavy video-editing. But for office work, this is a perfect 2-1. Think of it as a Microsoft Surface, but better.

GSMArena might be wrong about the chipset. This device is reported to be sporting the Kirin T92A, which is based on the Kirin 9020 in the Mate 70 Pro, but with lower frequencies aimed at a more efficient process while maintaining its performance.

Bob the web dev, 16 May 2025Theoretically has Google (android) it's just Huawei do... moreThese are devices with different shortcomings and for different purposes. Huawei is designed for entertainment, it has a good big screen. Working on it, even writing texts - is inconvenient. (For example, the bottom panel of applications still does not appear by swiping up. Even Honor tablets already have this.) And only iPad is suitable for working in graphic and video editors, drawing.

max, 16 May 2025$800 no Google😂Theoretically has Google (android) it's just Huawei don't have rights to use GMS and anything related to Google apps (aka download the app, you can still use a web based app set up to run whatever you want and you can root them on boot up to have access to GMS).
Also china has a population 4 times that of USA, Huawei has their own ecosystem that works incredibly well and does well in the Asian countries and this is a top tier tablet so it's in line with pricing (for USA, cheaper in its own continent).
Apple selling an LCD iPad at $800 😂 (can do the exact same thing looking at American/western companies and their prices that don't have as good software support in another continent Vs local to the area rivals).
