Yes, I use it regularly with a wireless keyboard and mouse through OTG dongle. Works smoothly. It has been my companion device for the last 5 years, use it for my day-to-day job, including reading books; never failed me. The size and weight are perfect for me. Impressed with its functionality, though running on Android Nougat. It's a pity they don't make 8 inch devices like this anymore.

I still use mine as my primary gadget (I have a communicator phone and 12.4" tablet/laptop) but I still love this size since it's not too small and not too wide. I've inserted a gazillion type of attachments to its port (keyboard, mouse, HDMI, and they all worked pretty well with the M3 Lite. Just need to have an adaptor handy (USB or Type-C to micro USB, etc.).

Tablet served me a long time. I had to stop using it 2022 because:
          1) I got a new router and huawei did not find wlan any more.
          2) HBO ceased to support huawei products. USA trade war against huawei?
          3) Tablet had became slow over time.

Bought my unit in 2018, and battery bulged out after using for two years. After battery replacement, unit continue to be used without much problem. Full HD screen is excellent for watching YouTube and other videos.

Nobita, 02 Jan 2021How to unlock bootloader free?No way. I even called Huawei and asked them. They stopped supporting this service in 2018. I haven't been able to find a way around it.

Good for reading my darn huge e-books, there is no lagging EXCEPT when highlighting texts. Camera is good. The speakers on both width sides are excellent. Battery is just fine. However, this tablet can't handle the game genshin impact, it hangs ALL the time, and if your screen move it's laggy. Definitely not for heavy gaming.

I've had this M3 Lite 8 MediaPad since it was brand new, and to be honest, it's still in darn good shape. I use it nearly every night to watch films on (Netflix, etc.). I haven't noticed any issues at all and even the battery lasts all night with heavy usage. I also own an older Huawei Pad (M2) and have had Huawei phones as well. Really good products.

I have this tablet and I've used it since 2018 until now(September 2020) the battery degrades fast but i already replaced the battery so now it's ok. Considering I've used this tablet since a long time, it lags a lot especially Twitter but if you want to play emulators like the ppsspp it's really great and it doesn't lag at all. But games like PUBG and COD and Mobile Legend can run on this tablet but very poorly even with the lowest settings. So if you just want a tablet for regular use like youtube or netflix this is your tablet, but if you want a tablet for gaming or note taking and school stuff just go for the iPad 6th or 7th gen

Does not suit for family use as does not support multiple users (what's even worse - understood that it should be standard feature of Anroid but it has been blocked by Huawei)

1 Is there a systemwide dark mode?

2 Is there a swipe up to reveal the apps tray? (hate the apps tray icon and the traditional 3 nav buttons on the bottom of the screen)

3 Any new enhancements to the audio? How loud (in dB) can the speakers go?

4 IS there a Night Mode or blue light filter?

5 Is there a Chromecast support? Or do we have to download a 3rd-party app?

6 Can we still install 3rd-party launchers?

                                    7. Is the tablet now up to EMUI 9.0?

8 Will this tablet ever get 9 Pie in the future?

9 Does the tablet support fast charging?
                                    Many thanks.

Hi. 1. What is the current Android version of this tablet? 2. What other audio settings does it offer? (equaliser?) 2. Does this come with dual-band & dual-channel wifi? and does it aupport 5Ghz wifi band? 3. Is there screen colour calibration settings? (e.g. Vivid or plain, Warm or cold, etc.) 4. Is there a built-in blue light filter or on & off toggle? 5. How bright can the screen go? (Huawei devices are not known to have bright screen). Would you say the dual-speakers are way louder than an iPad mini? Does the speakers have some bass to it? 6. Is there a way to cast the screen to a TV via Chromecast? 7. can i install a custom launcher such as Nova? Between this and the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus which you think has a louder & much richer speakers sound?
