MWC 2017: Huawei P10, P10 Plus, Watch 2 hands-on

Huawei P10 Plus hands-on
Huawei P10 Plus is following the steps of the P9 Plus, and expands on the P10 experience. The P10 Plus has a bigger 5.5" display, though it's an IPS one (the P9 Plus had an AMOLED), but raises the resolution up to 1440p.
The design of the P10 Plus is absolutely identical with the P10 - same screen glass, rounded frame, subtle antenna bands, diamond or sandblasted finish, and big camera plate.

The P10 also comes with the same Kirin 960 chipset, though you can now opt for a 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, or 6GB RAM + 128GB storage options.

The second upgrade comes with the Leica Dual-Camera 2.0 Pro Edition. This means wider f/1.8 apertures on both the 12MP color and 20MP monochrome sensors. The hybrid 2x zoom is here, variable aperture and Portrait Mode with bokeh effects (available in color and monochrome), too, and there are the signature monochrome shots.
The 8MP Leica f/1.9 selfie camera is here to stay and just like on the P10, it has Portrait Mode with live preview. We can't wait to try those shots at our office.
The third upgrade over the P10 is the faster LTE mode called 4.5G, courtesy of four LTE antennas.
And of course, a bigger shell allows for a bigger 3,750 mAh battery.
Huawei P10 Plus is also available in various color options, including the great on touch Dazzling Blue and Dazzling Gold, which are not only safe against fingerprints, but also provide for a very secure grip despite their rounded shape.

You bet we'll be waiting to test this new Leica camera setup, which is only available on the P10 Plus, and we very much hope to be able to put those devices in a camera shootout and put all these specs into some meaningful conclusions.
The lack of an AMOLED screen for the P10 Plus is fine with us, but we can't really understand why the Plus model is the only one to get the Leica Dual Camera 2.0 Pro setup. Sure, the Mate 9's original 2.0 setup is great and will be a huge upgrade for existing P9 users, but still.

I agree with you. I'm not ashamed that they have taken iOS functionality and iPhone built quality. I can't wait for this beast
