My point from previous comment was the difference between hos and EMUI in the smartphones.

Werner, 01 Jan 2024How many software updates will the Nova 12 recieve?As this phone is probably China only, so it's about harmony os(and not EMUI) it will get 4 os updates imo, because even nova 6 5G is in the list of supported devices for HOS 4, they did come with EMUI 10, and got 4 os updates(getting back with kirin will let them support their devices for longer)

You can always install Gblox app which will add you nice android 14 over your harmony OS and everything will works for you like you have android in your phone.
