I read the chinese news and apparently the Ultra and Pro will come with a downclocked Kirin 9000S. The fastest core is only downclocked by 100-150MHz or so.

If you really think its all about Mpix then you have no knowledge about cameras and photography.
8mpix ultravide should be perfectly fine.
