I received my Nova 4 and it does not support MicroSD storage or even Huawei nano memory storage. It also does not support NFC for Google or Android pay.
Please be aware of these shortcomings.

does this phone has an IR blaster? please ensure me.i am confused. IR blaster is very important for me. but the thing on the top doesn't look like IR blaster.

Nova 4 vs A8s vs Nova 3 is ok maybe
S8+ is a bit higher than the two others
Mate 20 is fine but Nova 4 is another range higher price for a garbage. The 48mp in low light is like 2 mp in old Nokia

Better performance (Kirin 980 vs Kirin 970)
Probably better camera in some ways? (because of the cooperation with Leica)
The RAM on Mate 20 is a bit smaller than Nova 4 (6GB vs 8GB) but I don't think that will affects your experience much
Yes, I know it's more expensive than the Nova 4 but it certainly worths it.

I like Huawei I was a mate20 user and I trade in to note9 but I think mate20 more good and faster and smooth I got mistake to trade in now I plan to nova4
