I purchased this on Jan-2020 from Dubai and still its performing as new and amazing. Battery life lasts one full day after a full charge. Speed is amazing since I choose this phone after my iPhone stopped working, no regrets. Great choice.

As for hardware this thing is actually good, for software you have both google and huawei spyware, which is bad. Wish I could unlock the bootloader and flash another ROM on it

Fasmun, 25 Dec 2021I love this phone. I came back after using Galaxy Note 20 5... moreHad similar problem with Whatsapp, couldn't save or edit photo from Whatsapp in Huawei gallery. Installed abother gallery app from Google Play and it solved the problem.
Must have messed up somewhere with tuning the settings because never had that problem in previous set up..

And recei... moreHi, do your Nova 5T have haptics feedback when typing on virtual keyboard? my phone since emui 11 cannot use haptics feedback at all, but when i test vibration of my phone it works well. only when i typing words using Google keyboard the haptics feedback doesnt works at all. Btw i already turn on system haptics but nothing happened. Anybody also exprerience this haptics issue?

So happy with this phone. Still working like new. And received EMUI 12 update last week, even better now.

martin, 25 Dec 2021Where are you from?how you got emui 12 i'm from Indonesia. i just instal beta apk from Huawei then you can register as beta tester if there still slot left. If your country and device accepted by huawei then you will get notification to download the firmware.

I love this phone. I came back after using Galaxy Note 20 5g and an Xaomi. The problem I have is with Whatsapp. When I click on an image to download it or zoom on it, it disappears and then I have to download it again. I then have multiple copies of the same image in my Gallery. I havent seen many reports of this. Don't know how to fix it. Multiple OS updates also don't solve this issue.
I don't think I need to move another phone for a year atleast if I can get this fixed.

i got EMUI 12.0.0.120 update this morning. So glad dont have to wait till 2022. So far the update getting better than latest EMUI 11. UI pretty much same except font, and top bar. Very smooth...

Every phone that I've used as of now they were nowhere close to Nova or else I would have changed my phone
In my country if I sell my phone and raise my budget just a tiny bit (for you is equivalent to 20$) then I can buy a Xiaomi Poco f3 😅.... I know Poco f3 is better in every way but I kinda like Emui and it's smoothness

Most reliable phone ever made, 2 year of using , and still works as new. I can afford a premium range phone, but I really don't need one having this little beast in my hands.
