Hi, I have an option of picking Samsung Galaxy A41 or Huawei Nova 5T, basically at the same price. Which one should I go for?

Don't update to emui 10.1, the thermal soc is really bad it reach at maximum of 49 c, stay at emui 10.0 or downgrade hisuite. Sorry for my bad English.

i bought this one. about battery life i think 5 hours gaming full battry with 60fps
charging about 1 hours full.
i think not bad

keep in mind though even if i try to keep it objective i don't standardize anything so the load in one mode might be heavier than the other

i don't have any amoled or high quality display to compare but as standalone it's very good. i love watching video from this phone, it's sharp and have a good color, the hole isn't obstructive as people say and video won't even touch the hole anyway. it's also bright enough to use outside even though i live in tropical country. no complain for the display at all

I don't recommend that phone because since may previous p30 pro stolen and i bought that nova 5t on 1st of may 2020 and i faced an issue with the speakers within the first week , the phone is suddenly stopped the outside speakers and works on the upper speakers only even you play music some one calls you play a video the voices will come from the upper speakers then i went to the Huawei service center in dubai telling them the issue ,they received the device and after 2 days they called me to tell me yes we admitted the issue and you can come to get a new device then i went and i received it after that within 2 days same issue again in the new one and i give it back to them more than 7 times to refund my money and Everytime they telling me we don't know where is the issue and technically the phone is well and they don't want to even admits the videos which I record it for the phone or the screen record showing them clearly that the phone not using loudspeakers and untill now i didn't get my phone after more than 74 days suffering going and coming to the service center without fixing my issue or getting any service from them

Been using this device since November 2019, and I can't still figured out what LCD manufacturer equipped on this device. The display is way way better than my previous devices (Redmi Note 7 and 8), and as of now, I don't encounter any image persistent or retention.

Anonymous, 13 Jul 2020i'm not saying EMUI is bad (i don't really like 1... moreI think that i will buy nova 5t, i just think that it will last me longer since im gonna be using the phone at least for 2 to 3 years.and i read about all the issues of the n9p on the n9p specs page over here, i saw that a lot of people had problems with auto focus dust getting in the camera charging time being really slow up to 2 and a half hours after the latest updates.I think that im gonna just go on the safe side and go for nova 5t and i have seen n9p in stores and i think that its just too big of a phone since my hands arent that big.And i also think that its just an incovenient phone because of the weight and size.Im just intested in the display of nova 5t what would you say since its an ips lcd display is it good would like to hear from you.

Anonymous, 12 Jul 2020im not that much of a phone gamer my self, I only play game... morei'm not saying EMUI is bad (i don't really like 10.1 update but i'm still adapting) but you don't have any options to upgrade unless you want to go Google-less.
i never used miui myself so take my words with a grain of salt but i afaik the ads isn't that intrusive anymore, and i don't think any of my friends that using it have problem with it.
it's my first time hearing the dust problem with 9 pro, i would say it might be defective product but yeah, that's pretty bad
for the charger, iirc some market doesn't give the 30W charger out of the box. if you actually get them it would be charged to 100% in about 90 minutes (which is the same with nova 5t)
i can't say much about the camera since for me it's good enough as long as it got the jobs done. although if we're talking about stock camera i think nova is indeed better
forgot to say, i would recommend you to go to store and try using 9 pro before buying it. 0,5" and 25 g difference doesn't look like a big deal in paper but it is. if you don't mind adapting though, i would say 9 pro definitely have higher value for money
