Mampara, 29 Dec 2022What happened to Kirin 810If its using 7nm below, sorry to say they are banned from being made by USA so Huawei is stuck at 12nm above since its still using the old DUV fabrication.

Though I heard they have made progress on 7nm without help from US/West just lacks machines to mass produce.

As long as they can keep the price point down really low of every device there in and iron out the main problem with them using too much power too run and few bugs here and there they be really good

I think it's more important they use as little power too run as possible then scoring high on benchmarks

I've got high hopes for unisoc and hope allwinner is still being made also

If the device there in are dirt cheap there short comings will be overlooked

Given enough time one day they might be good

If this phone had Google Services, I wouldn't have bought it because I hate Google. Now that I know it doesn't have Google Services, I'm going to buy it tomorrow.

I don't care about Google play services. The only reason not to buy this phone is because it is overpriced at $190, Redmi note 12 offers better display and miui which is in a way better than huawei harmony os or emui and more, so why spend more

Bluewave, 28 Nov 2022No Google services = NO BUY !!!Yes Google Services = No Buy!

Thankgod there is no Google in this phone!

Bluewave, 28 Nov 2022No Google services = NO BUY !!!What a stupid thing to say. AppGallery is now so full with all amazing apps. Besides that, in AppGallery you can also find application called GSpace. With downloading that app, your Huawei will have all Google application that are not on Huawei by default.
Huawei with GSpace have Google. Just like it did before. It works amazing !

at the OS Write: Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) instead of Google Mobile Services (GMS).

I mean....I understand it is supposed to be a low budget phone, the specs speak for themselves....but why did they have to use that trashy iPhoney design?

They just lack fabbing machines to mass produce since USA banned them from getting older DUV Machines.

Maybe next year or so we see 7nm Chinese fabbed socs be used & a few more years they reach 4nm, 3nm etc. with how unexpectedly fast they are going even being sanctioned by USA.

I kinda want too see Huawei survive

I really hope too see unisoc processor or allwinner processors get tryed out in budget smartphones

China's home grown processor's do have some proential too maybe become good one day

There's also mediatek that's not a us company not Chinese either from Taiwan
and is on fire 🔥 lately making some of the best processors on the market not sure I wonder if they could make there way into a Huawei phone

It's unfortunate they don't support the Google play store as this hurts consumers the ban does

The manufacturering of processor is different though it just doesn't matter it just ultimately adds real competition between too side that can't afford to lose

Unlike 2 different company's us based that can just agree too higher prices and lower performance for consumers

Artificially putting limitations too performance in place

I want too see what the Chinese can do with there own technology and factory's surely they can at least make a reasonable budget smartphone as a good start

So if Huawei use it in midrange or entry level phone, the price will be high.
                                      And Chinese cant stand this.
Even Huawei posted Pocket S with 778G,they are angry with the price.
