Good brand. but no google services. Huawei should lower their prices. it's still overprice. ill rather go for redmi note 11 with amoled display/400+ ppi with a punch hole rather than IPS display and a very low pixel density of 200+.

Just before the US ban i bought a Huawei Y9 (2019) , and for a very cheap price that phone was amazing, far ahead of Samsung. Till today it is still working very good, and is much better than the new Samsung A13 or A23. No wonder everybody would think Huawei was soon going to be number one in the world. But now without Google Services for good or bad reasons, i will never buy their phones....sad.
BTW, i wonder why there is no US phone brand other than Apple.

Even the iphone 13 had sold a lot in china last quarter of 2021. Its China for christ's sake! Its huawei's home country. But still people bought the iphone 13. That pretty much sums it up. I don't hate on it cause it doesn't have gms, whatever hole they're in, they dug it themselves.

Just purchase Huawei Nova 70 2 dqys ago. One of the wrost phone I have ever see in my life, I buy Huawei phone first time. There is no Google services in this phone , then how cam I'll manage my work and all, people are giving opinions to use clone app like dual space n etc..
I never ever go for this company phone again, and suggest to anyone else. If you are not able to provide basic services then close your company

I don’t think it’s overpriced especially when you look at other brands like Xiaomi, for example which bake ads straight into almost all their system apps to keep the price really down. A lot of people prefer ads over paying more for a phone that doesn’t have it. Now I don’t I hate ads popping up every time is use a basic system app music player for example. Huawei generally has good build quality and the way they manage the OS especially in app management for battery life, is excellent.
If Huawei was really hated by the globe, they wouldn’t be selling phones even now and would have closed their phone business a long time ago. So what I was saying people just bash the phone for no real reason, just to get their “shot” in to say something about it.
Even you are taking now currently about 2017-2018 and that’s not even relevant today. It’s 4 years later. If you had used this phone as of today and gave a honest opinion about it I would definitely say that is real feedback and not bashing. This could be what most of the people are doing anyway. They probably had a phone before the ban and now bash it 3 years later, not even using a Huawei phone as of late. Huawei has come along way since then in terms of APP gallery content, they really have been pushing the app catalog. I admit they don’t have all the apps the play store has, but you must remember that the play store has been around much longer than the app gallery (not sure how long) and the ban is still in effect, so a lot of companies don’t want to do business with Huawei especially on the software side.

I know they were banned because they “could potentially open a back door for the Chinese government into countries systems”. Now the key word is could. This is what they initially banned Huawei for. But now look at this from a political point of view. Huawei sales were booming at the time, even overtaking Samsung at the time for a short period. Now this is a threat to businesses, especially in the west if Huawei took top spot around the world. So then they were banned as a result. Huawei almost had no equipment in the US at the time and most western countries had 4g Huawei equipment installed. The problem became that Huawei’s 5g network was ahead of the nearest competitors and it was cheaper. So it looks a little suspicious then.
To prove this further, why was Xioami banned just before the previous US administration left office. They don’t sell phones in the US or did they have to do anything with the network of the country. Something happened there and it looked more like a business decision than a security decision. If it was a security decision why did the current administration turn the decision around then? Well I’m not saying Huawei is a clean company. I mean even Apple and Google has been caught doing shady things. It was like the ban was more political and actually security concerns.

The phone is using a Kirin 710 but there is a difference. It has a new chip number. Here is a list of the different numbers:
Kirin 710 (HI6260GFCV100)
Kirin 710F (HI6260GFCV101)
Kirin 710A (HI6260GFCV131)
Kirin 710 New (HI6260GFCV131H)
The last one was found in the enjoy 50. This might make it a new chip that had been printed recently and not before the ban. Huawei is hiding some details on the chip.
Well my point is this chip might also be in the Nova y70 Plus, since its relatively a new phone. It also didn't make sense to me that they still have stock of the Kirin 710, so I am guessing that they might have made this new chips and they are not telling anyone.

I am amazed at all the comments here thats bashes Huawei phones. I wouldn't be surprised if these people never used this phone or Huawei device in there life. Alot of people love Huawei, I am one of them.
I personally started using this as I was just shocked to find out how much info Google had on me (I challenge you to draw your info from Google and see what I mean). Now people will say well you are giving your info to Huawei now, I know that. I justed wanted a reset on who has my most upto date info. I have been with Huawei since the P40 lite and I never had any issues.
The phone is really cool. I get an average of 15 hours screen on time, this is more than any phone that i had before. The way Huawei manages the battery life is amazing, Samsung doesn't even come close. The phone has a Kirin 710 and this processor with this phone has amazing performance in day to day use. I havent gotten any lag as of yet.
But anyway I am just stating, I love Huawei and that my choice. You dont have to make remarks like "there is no GMS, then I won't buy the phone". I know this and I am sure anyone that buys the phone knows this as well. If not then I wonder how they missed it.
Just stop trolling these devices as you are just making no sense.
