Also, S8 edge is not everyones game. i bought s7 edge used for 2 months and than shifted to s7, edge screens are just for HO HA...

To have almost 1000mAh is a plus. But not necessarily so. As long as the OS is not optimized, a big battery will do no good no matter what.
S8 or P10. I have the P9 plus now and is satisfied with it. I don´t like the take of puttin sensor in front. Having it at the back was great. And its way easier with one hand movement to unlock the phone.
Don´t like the top and bottom bezels on this either. Samsung looks like my winner this year so far.

Whats remarkable is the 'width' of this phone is only 74.2 mm. This is superb making it easy to hold for a lot of people. Only the galaxy a7 (2016) version has lesser width and that too by just 0.1 mm. Its width is 74.1 mm. But other samsung and other company 5.5 phones have greater width. The iphone plus size version has a whopping 77.9 mm width. Even with the same 16:9 screen aspect ratio as this P10 plus.
If apple makes another 5.5 inch phone this year....it really really really really needs to work on the width of the phone. If huawei can bring it down to 74.2 then i think apple which spends a lot more on R&D, and has more material patents, has more money to use better materials...can do it.

windstorm, 30 Mar 2017are u crazy? same price why buy P10 plus instead s8?You should try the Huawei P10 plus first, .. about S8 .. S8 is nice, but nothing really changes except the bigger screen. camera is the same as S7 (improve only on software).
I use 2 phones : a S7edge and Huawei P9..
and have been thinking to let go the S7edge and P9
and change to Huawei P10plus
