Huawei’s flagship series has been on the rise with both the P-series and the Mates shipping millions of units more than their predecessors. The company’s wearable devices are also doing impressively.

During the Mate 30 presentation, CEO Richard Yu revealed that the Huawei Mate 20 flagships shipped over 16 million devices. That’s a huge improvement over the “10 million+” shipments of the Mate 10 generation.

The Huawei P30 phones did even better – the company has already shipped over 17 million devices and the P30 series is only half a year old at this point. For comparison, the P20 and P20 Pro managed 10+ million shipments in the first 5 months. The P30 series needed 62 days fewer to hit 10 million shipments.

The Huawei Watch GT was released 10 months ago and in that period 3 million units have been shipped. And shipments seem to be picking up speed – the Watch GT series hit the 2 million mark in June. The GT is powered by a Huawei-made chipset running an in-house OS, which means it and the newly announced Watch GT 2 are unaffected by the US trade ban.
