Huawei P30 Pro gets AR Measurement tool

Ro, 15 April 2019

A new update just hit some Huawei P30 Pro devices in China bringing the so-called AR Measurement tool. It's standalone app that lets you measure distances leveraging the phone's ToF camera.

The company teased the feature when the phone launched, but it wasn't available on the phone from the start. Instead it was to be delivered later on and the time has clearly come.

At the time of writing this piece, the update still hasn't arrived to our unit, which means that Huawei is seeding the update only in China for now. We hope it hits the global units soon as it looks pretty cool and we can't wait to try it out and see if it's accurate enough.
