Jack Hard, 30 Mar 2023I don't need 5G. I have a 5G phone but have never used... moreSame! 5G is a toaster or battery drainer! That's why I very very rarely use it unless I need to transfer data fast otherwise I stick to 4G or even 3G that is luckily still available in my country.
Also it seems Huawei is about to mainstream 6G which is supposedly much more efficient & more optimized than current 5G, hopefully soon.

Huawei came to stay and coming with innovative gadgets every release of a product,I used to use Samsung Galaxy notes,bt since Huawei ban from Mate 30 series, it's when I shift from note 10+,to mate 30 pro 5g,life changed completely with this phone usage till now,bt locked with mate 40 pro now,aiming go 50 pro or mate Xs2 folding,Huawei came to open users eyes cuffed with Google eco-system now we go HarmonyOs woow,different technology,congs then named company's name to my kids as their 3rd name💥💖🤞👊👊👂👂👑

So many rants about 'no google - no buy'. It just shows how dependent from google people are. Have you ever thought about there are a lot of better, more secure and private alternatives to google apps and services? Have you heard about open source? Have you heard about other email providers besides gmail? Have you heard about google maps alternatives which respect your privacy and does not track every step you do? Oh no, everyone is busy with endless scrolling in facebook, instagram, tiktok and other time wasters. Have you ever thought about detaching yourself from google and deleting google account? You will never look back if you do.

I don't need 5G. I have a 5G phone but have never used it. 4G is still relevant even for a few years to come. 5G is just a marketing strategy depending on where you live. I bought this phone and I'm waiting for it.

The phone is a perfect successor to the P40 Pro and P50 series, although the lack of GMS and 5G would be a reason to not buy it, but thats the beauty of reviewing the phone, this deserves a chance to be phone of the year by all accounts

They only used what's made available for them... The banned was more restricted towards ending of last year that's why they couldn't use new camera tech and chips.

Anonymous, 27 Mar 2023they went from 5x -> 10x -> 3.5x optical zoom lmaoFor the sake of flexibility, the combination of low optical zoom and high resolution works better than the older high optical zoom and low resolution. AI-assisted digital zoom has gotten really good since 2019 and 2020 when cropping would absolutely wreck the quality of the photo. However, I do love the pure brute power of optical zoom. A 3x-10x continuous zoom periscope camera paired with a high-resolution sensor would be awesome.

940 euros??!! 🤣🤣 This kind of tech you spend 940? Anyone with money who can't spend buy this phone with this money. Previously Huawei make great phones with built quality. But they are lagging behind the tech. They use lower chip, screen, camera, no google play but price is almost the top ended flagship. This should be 600-700 euros. I saw some pic of mate 50 , quality is not so good as , pixel and iphone.
