mandalaphone, 14 Mar 2023I still haven't read any "no 3.5 mm jack, not for... moreI'd pay more for a phone with headphone jack. Sadly most smartphones specs are nowadays the same.

Why huawei launching 4g phones not 5g?
Can any body tell 5g is not 5g is that 4g?
I'm not understanding why huawei doesn't want to beat all branded phones?

111, 15 Mar 2023Doesn't support 5G?They arent allowed to use 5g, last phones supporting it were p40 and mate 40 series.

Anonymous, 15 Mar 2023I don't see that as an improvement. I don't even ... moreI meant that 'people going more silent with their requests and discontent of a phone not having 3.5mm jacks' is an improvement.

baaaa, 14 Mar 2023Hope that it will have the same PWM( pulse width modulation... moreYeah no 5G is definitely a bonus - I turn if off in other phones but they just waste a lot of space in the precious case for a technology that doesn't work & will never work and was just put there for different purposes, as 4G is good enough for anything you'd want to do on a phone.

A headphone jack is useful. a 5G modem completely useless. So why is the useless thing in there, and the useful thing not.

Hilariously, 4G is also faster than 5G in many areas (USA) lol. So to get higher speeds in the USA, need to turn off 5G.

David 040882, 14 Mar 2023That's an improvementI don't see that as an improvement. I don't even see wireless will ever replace wired at all, especially for audio.

mandalaphone, 14 Mar 2023I still haven't read any "no 3.5 mm jack, not for... moreDoesn't mean it's dead. I myself sold my S22 Ultra for a Sony Xperia 1 iv that has both headphone jack and microSD card slot, and I don't miss my old Samsung at all. Everything is better with my Xperia now. 🤡

I really hope the actual specs are going to be different when the phone gets released... I currently use P50 Pro , and this one does not seem as a major upgrade. Hope that it will have the same PWM( pulse width modulation) as mate 50 pro as it was around 5% at full brightness ( perfect ). And the lack of 5G is a bonus for me ! The 5G is still terrible yet gives you the corona. Gogo huawei ! Make sure the SAR values are low too. Too many people asleep watching only specs worhout thinking about health.

That might sound great, but it cost a lot of money. I personally keep the existing speed as recommended by SD Association and make a nanoSD card. That way, you can still be within the price of existing microSD cards.
