8mp selfie 🤳, no improvements. No NFC. I don't see any use of the 2×2mp rear camera

my view is that the Kirin 710 processor is good ,
but for the other specifications it looks like they took a few steps back,
model 2019 is with glass and aluminum but model 2021 is with cheap plastic,
then No NFC and wi-fi connection without 2.4GHz or 5 GHz and without antennas 2x2 MIMO and it's LTE cat 6 instead of cat 12 then no gyroscope and without screen protection somehow seems unattractive to me.I stay on the Honor 8x which is far,far, better.

Example Samsung 8nm & 10nm is much alike its barely a improvement and to be fair it should maybe not even been called 8nm... 10nm+?

The Kirin 710A is 14nm because it's not manufactured by TSMS.
Huawei (because of the US ban) is relaying on SMIC a Chinese chipmaker which is still stuck on 14nm process, that's why the regular 710 is 12nm and the 710A is 14nm.
Even with the nm difference, performance between the regular 710 and the 710A seems to be the same, so if you are someone with a phone running the regular 710 or 710f and are looking for an upgrade this is not it.
If you are looking for an upgrade I would instead recommend the Huawei P40 Lite which can be easily found right now for 200€ or less.
