5x Zoom in Pro mode looks awful? It looks like the main sensor is being used and cropped, telephoto sits inactive. Can someone confirm if I am not just tripping?

An article on consumer.huawei claims some devices can now run it but it is from 2023 and I can't find a more recent one. That said it claims "Currently, the support model are nova 12, P60 Pro , Mate X3, Mate40, Mate 50 series with EMUI 13.0.0.213(C636E10R2P1patch01) to use Android Auto."

      The name of the Article is "Android Auto can be use on HUAWEI Smartphones!!!" check it if you like. There are some instructions on how to install it since it looks like even if it is true, it requires a few more steps than normal. Though like I said, I can't say how up to date and factual it is by now.

      As far as I knew until now, though, android auto just couldn't be ran at all so not sure. If you've got someone who has one of these devices that you could check with and see if they can run the app would be the best way to confirm. I'm with a p50 pro so not on the list and my car just turned 20 this year so don't much need it myself :D

                I recently bought this Phone but I could not connect my cars android auto. With my previous android Phone I did not have any problem. I searched all overr the Internet and tried almost everthing but could not succeced. My car is opel grandland 2023. Previously I could connect with cable and could start the android auto without problem. Kind warning Who are thinking buying this phone

                  I just found out that this phone is using a less powerful kirin 9000s (less powerful than the one in the mate 60 pro) and it has 8 cores instead of 12 and has a geekbench multicore score of 3700 instead of 4200

                            It's not bad at all, you can see the improvements.
                            It's quite big If I compare with the P40.
                            I hope the Pura80 will be smaller.

                                  I think, this is the same chipset as P30 (as evidenced by 7nm) with updated camera , wifi, and other tech. thus enabling them to use (discretely) android once again. one of the reason why in our country 5G was disabled. before the "BAN" huawei is leaps ahead with the 7nm process while competitors are still using 14nm, and secondly before the ban they are already working on 3nm process. said BAN enable xiaomi to capitalized and huawei laid to rest. i have a P30, base model (not pro), and up to now, it doesnt show any "slowness" and its camera still performs better than other phones.
