            I have looked up the price offered here in my country and examined the specs...quite a mismatch in various departments, really...7nm chips??? That is worse than a midrange smartphone now. I know China is having a hard time now producing better and faster chips due to those restrictions from the West to hamper its growth, but the pricing is a bit off to attract a real tech enthusiast. Longevity and future-proofing are absent.

                  dzodzo, 10 May 2024Did you use the phone or watched some real life tests so yo... moreIt has really improved with updates, Pura 70 ultra is ahead of Xiaomi 14 ultra, only vivo x100 pro it's on it's level at the moment., Huawei is number 1 in macro along side vivo, number 1 in bokeh, number 1 in shutter, very necessary in capturing sport moments, top 2 in night. number 1 in colours, the Pura 70 ultra has really improved, and it keeps improving with updates

                    1960's commercial style is original, but not mine.
                    The mechanical lens seems cool, (not 7pro cool but) My pop up lens hasn't failed yet.
                    I've used 2 Huaweis in my time, and I found with both that something was missing, or they did an obvious compromise that disappoints. I hope them success.

                            Can someone explain why Huawei can use the Cortex-A510 cores but the bigger Cortex-X3 and stuff cores can't be used by them? It's so weird.

If it was a company like the ones you mentioned, sanctions imposed on it would surely kill it. But here's a company banned in 2019, still alive in 2024. You've got to think they have some serious backers, like the actual state.

Huawei and Honor are nowhere to be found.
