I love the design. It's at least somewhat different from the rest. I especially like the X pattern on the back. The camera will probably be a monster, and quite possibly the best ever on a phone. Great base storage. Amazing kunglung glass.
But...old chipset and no playstore are deal breakers. And personally going above 6.1" bricks is a no-go.

You can put AI off, but is Hardware only enough against Vivo X100 Ultra?
Sadly Huawei use weak SOCs.
Blame America for that.
I liked Huawei a lot and I still do, but camera is not the only reason, why I want a phone.
I need Bluetooth codecs also.
LDAC is not good enough.
APTX Lossless is superior.
Vivo X100 Ultra will have SBC, AAC, LC3, APTX, APTX Adaptive, APTX HD, APTX Lossless, LDAC and LHDC Bluetooth codecs.
That's a huge plus for me.
I am a huge Bluetooth speaker lover and all Bluetooth codecs is a huge win for me.

I prefere the old cameras.
Vivo will use normal camera tech.
AI makes mistakes, like deleting details.
I don't want to have cameras that delete details.
One guy also exposed Samsung AI camera vs a pro normal camera.
Normal camera didn't delete details, but AI camera did delete details.
You can search normal cameras vs AI cameras from Google.
Cameras with 0 AI do exist.
Vivo will use 0 AI, only pure original camera tech aka hardware only.

"The main differences between an AI camera and a traditional camera are in their range of capabilities. The extent to which each can produce certain photographic or video recording outcomes is also an important point. A traditional camera without artificial intelligence capabilities is called a “Normal Camera”."

Huawei has IMX989 but also has it's own image technology algorithm called Xmage to improve image quality. Professional camera's like the one's from Sony alpha series all use AI in combination with their hardware, especially the newer models like the A7C II and A7RV

They don't use the full power of CPU and GPU aka they don't use the hardware only.
They use AI also.
We all know AI looks bad.
Professional cameras use 100% hardware and 0% AI.
Huawei use AI and AI takes fake photos.
AI also deletes details.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra AI deletes minor details, like hair, full hardware pictures don't delete details at all.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra AI also deletes details.
Maybe Huawei Pura 70 Ultra will have better photos, than Vivo X100 Ultra, but it doesn't count, because AI us fake.
It's not original.
Hardware is the original way.
Vivo X100 Ultra with Hardware only, will defeat Huawei Pura 70 Ultra if we take a Hardware vs Hardware camera battle.

Huawei also has way better processing algorithms than any other brand you mentioned.
For Bluetooth it also has LDAC which is one of the best codecs.

Or maybe simply it's because you can't afford it?? I understand not anyone can afford elegance of beauty, but can't help to shut their mouth, hehehe. Also it's not all about chipset and fabrication, it's about masterpiece and others technology breakthrough it comes with, for example it's camera, one of the best, check it out on youtube.
