Each of the 4 box is divided into 4 smaller boxes. The innermost box of each of the larger 4 boxes it taken to form the central frame pixel. So basically, it'll be providing 7.4x. Also Quad Bayer sensors merge 4 pixels to form a single Bayer photograph all whilst retaining an effective sensor size of the original sensor. The advantages of multi part camera systems are that you don't lose out on much sensor size as the in-between lenses converge the light to form the image within a short distance. If we get to know the effective sensor size we can compare it to Find X8 Ultra to see which offers better quality.

The 1/1.28" 50MP Quad Bayer sensor is the largest telephoto to be installed in any phone. Also using it for a longer length magnification is nothing short of magestic. BTW the central portion of 12.5 MP is being used for the 212mm. Does anyone have any information as to how much effective sensor size is being used for the 9.4x?

Now, this is called TRUE INNOVATION!! Dual periscope telephoto lens, 3.7X and 10X zoom length with the same sensor? That's wild!! Huawei is killing the competition for sure 🙌
