Huawei schedules a product launch for December 12, MatePad incoming

Huawei scheduled a new announcement event on December 12, which will take place in Dubai. The Innovative Product Launch, according to the social media teasers, will reveal a “Creation of beauty”, which can be either the MatePad Pro 13.2 or the MatePad Pro 11 2024, or both.

The teaser also showcased some unusual accessories in the top right corner, which could be some earphones or another smart gadget with HarmonyOS.

The MatePad Pro 13.2 debuted in September with a notched display, a Kirin 9000S chipset and a 10,100 mAh battery. Two months later, its 11-inch sibling was introduced with the same SoC, while the rest of the specs, including design and dimensions, were borrowed from the MatePad Pro 11 2022.

Both tablets have thin bezels and similar visualization on the screen, so we don't have official information on which device will be revealed. We are more intrigued by the other product in the teaser, which looks nothing like any previous mobile or wearable device by Huawei.
