The sound quality of the phone is really good. The in-ear quality is also very decent. The phone Speakers are pretty loud n sound does not get distortion. Nice form factor. The camera quality is really good. didnt expect such good quality in such cheap price. 3.2 mp camera really works wonders.Browsing is faster in this phone. It is powered by a Qualcomm MSM7225 chipset that originally runs at 528MHz clock speed which is decently fast and performs better.

"Very nice looking device. Screen is definitely capacitive. Froyo should run fine on this as it is leaner than 2.1, and it was created """"with Google"""" which is officially branded on the back.

I've used this phone for seven months now and its a nice phone.
Those who are complaining about the battery should know that every phone consumes a lot of battery when one is using internet and this one is not exceptional.
before you guys start complaining please note that androids uses files which are ten times larger compared to symbians and when you come to java, the margin is far much bigger.
the principle of running these files is the same as that of running a big machine and a small machine. you can't expect both to consume the same amount of fuel. so that's the basic reason why the phone tends to consume alot of battery.
however, you can minimize the battery consumption by closing the applications that you're not using. keep on checking whether there are some open applications and close them from time to time.
I hope that is clear. thank you all.

I would say this one, Just got it yesterday and the software, speed and sync feature with google gives this upper edge. This is my 1st andriod so went for something basic and I am happy, have been with nokia for 12 years. The only problem i might face might be battery because of regular 3g gprs use.

Seems good
Its going to be resistive touchscreen.
But the Rs.5000/-, Android 2.2 makes it a tempting device
And also it has a 'Made-With-Google' mark.
This device can tap a good market share with that price.
Surely thinking of buying one.

Hello, just for making corrections to some wrong specs posted. IDEOS (Huawei U8150) is:
- CAPACITIVE touch screen 2.8''.
- HSDPA 7.2 Mbps (3.6 is wrong)
- Android 2.2, SRS sound, 256/512 RAM/ROM
Not bad for smartphone!!
You'll see IDEOS in every TOP world operator for sure!
