Construction is reasonably solid, but is all plastic (and the back cover is painted plastic) so I wouldn't expect it to stay looking new for long if not treated well. The colour back covers cheapen the look of phone a bit in my opinion. Would be good if it stocked the black ones too.

The cheapest android 2.2 phone on the market right now. I'm really impressed with all the things this phone has built in (eg GPS, WiFi tethering, accelerometer etc). Feels good in the hand.

I am using this phone from last 2 months, most nice thing abt this phone is its an android phone. it has millions of apps on market available. i think I am not goin to change this fone for long time.

I am using this phone from past 6 months, it actually does not have any issue. it works perfect. Apps like Whatsapp & Viber works so smooth. camera clarity is mind blowing. Music is crystal clear in loudspeaker. and touch is awesome...

I like Huawei’s approach with this device. Step away from the forking customisations that HTC, Sony, Samsung, and others seem so enamored by, and just run the device the way Google planned. And Huawei are no slouches either: apparently their network gear is behind the networks that serve more than a billion humans.

It’s all right there out of the box. Which is frankly amazing for the price. This phone even does some stuff that the iPhone 4 can’t do: it has WiFi tethering and FM Radio.

Another huge plus of vanilla Android 2.2 “with Google” is you’re guaranteed to get all the things you’d expect from Android. Apps, maps, email, contact sync, navigation, active wallpaper.

The way I read it, main target market is the younger pre-pay user.In this sense, the IDEOS U8150 is a great fit as their first smartphone: capable, not going to stun the geeks, but priced well for the market.

It’s clear FroYo is slightly too much for the processor to handle – only slightly though, and the improvements 2.2 itself brings to the table makes Huawei’s decision a wise one. Apart from this, the phone is boosted by an Adreno 200 GPU.

Not bad for USD $100-$200 smartphone!!

Camera quality is good. camera really works wonders. nice music. Browsing is faster in this phone. It is powered by a Qualcomm MSM7225 chipset that originally runs at 528MHz clock speed which is decently fast and performs better.

very nice phone at a very affordable price. it's unfortunate its no longer in the market. atleast for someone who wants an android phone that is small but very handy without having to break abank, this phone is good for you. the music,touch,battery, etc are all a cutting edge technology. I'll recommend it to you.

Superb phone. I really loved it. Gifted this to my boyfriend. He really liked it. The battery lasts longer than expected. Camera is good. Had some beautiful moments with it.

The phone is very good. The capacitative screen touch is one of the best feature of the phone. The phone is very fast for a 512mb rom. The user interface is very easy understand and use. All in all a great phone.

Awesome Touchscreen phone. Fully Capacitive touch. Nice Camera, blutooth, FM Radio, sound. Best part is that its too cheap money wise. Love it.

Was impressed. Despite having the kind of plastic body you would expect at this price point, build quality is not compromised.
