This phone is great! only wifi connection is giving me some hard time, though wifi tethering is awesome. froyo upgrade is a must. need some reliable customized rom as completed recovery using clockworkmod. any help plz??

DukeNorge, 19 Jul 2011Its simple and easy ! i just upgrade my Huawei U8500 to and... moredont go on that link becouse something is wrong ! if u want to download Android 2.2 Froyo on this phone u just visit Huawei web page.GO HERE - "http://www.huaweidevice.com/tcpsdownload/downLoadCenter?category=cn&flay=software&fileName=110329091915.zip&attachmentName=U8500+V100R001C278B712.zip".DOWNLOAD WILL BE START AUTOMATIC ,when u download file just unzip and COPY on MICRO SD ,when u do that ,TURN OFF your Phone and PRESS HANG UP KEY AND VOLUME + and POWER ,u will see FILMWARE UPDATE IS START ,maybe u will see UPDATE FAILED but u just REMOVE BATERY and wait 20 sec ,after that put back batery and start the Phone !AND U HAVE 2.2 froyo ,! Only thing u must do after that is to Download Fmradio.apk from megaupload.com/?d=8RP2R7X8 AND THATS IT ! U HAVE ANDROID 2.2 FROYO !

I have this phone .,but i have litlle problem with memory,i put it memory micro SD card (8gb) and i install alot of applications and games ,but now i see icon (LOW MEMORY)i know that is internal memory but can somebody tell me how i can use now MICRO SD card (where is that Option) i searched entire phone but i cant find it ! can somebody tell me how to fix this problem ?TNX!

If you go to Huawei web site ,you dosn't find about this mobile phone unless some pdf files.no update no applications ..nothing

on sd card, i copied,but it shows 'can't detect update package.failed.if in device, internal memory is little than that file(217 mb).How can i solved it?
