Had mine for about a month now and I'm happy with it for the price I paid (80 GBP). Good cheap smartphone just what I was looking for as my first android device to get me used to the os.
It says here that it has flash which it doesn't but you can easily find adobe flash for armv6 and install that.
Rooted mine easily, installed cyanagenmod on it and even had debian with x11 running on it.
Recommended as a first phone or just the mobile hobbyist who likes to tinkerin there spare time.

Wow! If you ever dreamed of buying an affordable good smart-phone... It has to be this one! (IDEOS X3) I'm willing to buy one soon; if God says.

I find... moreyou need to change the wi-fi sleep setting, go to settings, then wireless & networks, then wi-fi settings, then press the middle menu key, select advanced, you will then see wi-fi sleep policy, select "NEVER" you can then turn wi-fi on and off whenever you want to via the slide screen, hope this helps, CHEERS

Davy I had same problem, my once lucious long blonde hair has been singed... I can still smell it in my large nostrils.....will they fix this??!!?!

I was recently the victim of a house fire and blame the blaze as its origin. Im no detective but the name kind of gives the game away. its a good handset but if im in fear of it combusting into flames everytime i unlock it i might go back to my previous non hazardous handset.

well...........crapiest fone i ever got......battery is terrible and it wouldent switch on out off the box!
my advice is buy a prober smartfone or just have a cheap £5 one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mine was free... It has it's shortcomings, but even if i had paid for it, it's not expensive.

There are no lights behind the navigation keys (might explain why they do not come on), and they react if you give them a solid press and wait for the vibration confirmation before releasing.

My experience shows that Wireless Network signal's Speed is very dependent on your signal level. WiFi does sometimes need a kick-start after turning it on (to achieve a connection to a known network), i solved this issue with a shortcut to the WiFi settings page directly by the power widget: turn on WiFi, and then check the settings page with a single press to ensure the link is coming up.

The screen needs to be handled firmly (vs. caressed lightly) for input to be understood properly.
