ok so after a couple of days with this phone i am suprised by it the handest itself has a lot of potential the only issue i am having is it seems to be unable to send and receive video and picture msgs (i beleive this is due to my carrier vodafone australia) but apart from that for a phone that cost me $50aud its well worth it

AnonD-34513, 17 Dec 2011i put sum music off my computer on to my phone and keeps sa... moreit will be because this phone can only play certain types of music files, put the songs onto itunes then convert the file type then put back onto 'my music' then it will work, I had to do the same thing.

Excellent phone...video calling works supergood..install vtok guys ..outstanding performance at this price...good speed...all the app runs good..built quality is good...

I brought this cellphone ..
1) I installed fring but the video call is too lagy..(I test using fring test call)just appears my photo..its too slow..but after installing it notified me that "DUE TO HARDWARE SUPPORT THE VIDEO QUALITY MAY BE LOW".
2)Is there any video chat app that works fine(Ideos x3 users pls inform this pls..bec i brought this handset for video call/chat only)
(I tried in wifi too)

If you root the device you can use other video over IP software's like Gtalk but the support for true video call is not available anywhere i've looked.
But this is a carrier decision to.. this device packs Android 2.3.3 and any carrier can add the video-call function. In Europe i didn't found any carrier that enabled this function. I think it's because the price range of the device, to avoid competition with the more expensive Android devices.

I don´t know about other country's but on Portugal this phone as only 128MB of RAM.
I´ve bought one for my wife and i was surprised to see that the total RAM is 128MB.
Still i must say it performs better than the Galaxy Mini, once you disable the Huawei GUI and keep the Android stock one.
As for software, don't expect all the goodies that Samsung put's in the G Mini. This one comes with a lot less software (but you can get anything from the market so...).
It as a similar SoC that the G mini but it runs application a little better (try angry birds to see the difference). The SoC can be overclocked (if you root the device) to a max of 800Mhz (stable) anything above and it crashes (at least that's my experience). If you want a little more battery time you can underclock it to 200Mhz but don't expect it to be very responsive :P

This is my first smart phone, and after a weekend of adjusting to it, I am really impressed. Seems to be slow on wi-fi, but that may be a function of location, will try it in other places. Screen is good, easy to adjust and in short, I am very happy - bought on EBay for $145 all up.
