It actually works much better than a lot of expensive sets. Almost everything works well except Bluetooth.

i bought the phone and all in all its very good phone but: I HAVE ONLY 176 MB OF RAM. 256 mb of ram would be great but this is too small. i'm already using about 85% of my ram in 3 weeks use...

I just can't get over the price point vs value for this phone. I wondered how effective the onscreen koard would be. I have big fingers. Actually after practice not bad. THE thing though that has me sold on it ( actually 2 ) 1) the speech-texting. I can "type" whole emails without touching the kboard. Just use the mike. ALL for 74 euros!!
          Talking about a cheap date!!
Oh and (2) Sammy as well as LG's offerings ALL have -3 inch screens. 3.5 inch is GIGANTIC in comparison.. Huawei.. You KEEP IT UP, you may have a loyal client. Not just a flash in the pan customer. Like I said.. KEEP IT UP!!!

LIKELY one of the best best kept secrets of the Android world. Mine was 74euros at the Spanish Yoigo store. ( Normally 79) Up front, so you know, NO camera flash. No front-faced camera. 3.2 mp main camera. 256 mb ram. IF however you can get by that you have a very credible piece of kit. 3.5" screen. Full access to the Android store. 2 accounts to gmail backing up and syncing. Radio. up to 32 mb of SD card access. not too heavy. Phone speaker is ok. Most of my contacts are in other countries so it's hard to say on spkr quality. But I am honestly not complaining, there's little but the things I mentioned at the beginning of the article. Sure on day I'll give it to my kids. But till then It hold my attention quite nicely, thank-you!!

              Hey,

I have a Huawei sonic android phone and the bluetooth does not connect to the car radio, i know what the problem is as my other phone (htc incredible s) connects fine. the problem is that after pairing the phone the keypad does not come up to enter the passcode.

Any ideas on how to fix this??

Walked out of the phone store and immediately turned to let it face the sun. STILL could see the screen. SOLD. Paid my 79euros Android 2.3. GPRS. FULL Android experience. Battery lasts all day with email syncing. Calls around the world. No games just work. Dual gmail accounts ( kept separate ). Nice screen as mentioned. Bass with the "cost saver" earpieces is nice. The earpieces are not comfortable. The sound overall is ok. Overall I am NOT surprised at my level of satisfaction. I did my homework. THIS site DRUG IT'S COLLECTIVE HEELS in even acknowledging the unit. NOTE stillno report. WHY.... I am impressed. YOUTUBE plays with no stutter. CURIOUS how I can't in Spain ( Costa de SOL) get Skype voice to work. Skype messagenger is fine though.Camera performanceis par for a 3 mp snapper. But for 79 euros?? More like Samsung/ LG's offering for 150-200 euros.

Some places will have 512MB RAM for U8650 like Taiwan. Just some places (like Hong Kong / China) will sell as 256MB RAM. =]

Are there any problems with launching Android games/programs? Is it worth it to save up for similar samsung or htc phone?

Should be noted that this phone uses an Adreno 200 GPU.
