i have huawei u8800 ideos x5 but my touch now does not work, and i can't find another touch to change, where i can find it on my country? i am from Mozambique

Please i need help. My phone was in my Pocket and when i removed it, it was off, sence that day i have tried all my best and it's still not oning. Please what should I do to bring it back to life?

Hi Can anyone tell how to use OTG cable for Huawei Ascend Y300D model. When i connect Samsung Grand it works same cable when i connect to Huawei model it doesnot show the usb stick.

I have used this phone for a year and everything works awesome, I love the camera of this phone it makes amazing videos in HD at 720p.I recommend this phone to everyone, works really fast.

My Ideos X5 was reborned.
Froyo was freezing, oficial update to 2.3.7(?) made it even worse.
With ICS Aurora ROM(for U8800), it went from "almost to throw away" phone to a phone to use!

This is good phone, i updated it to gingerbread 2.3.5. Its better cuz froyo blocks and gets frozen sometimes. It fall from my pocket somewhere and display gets crashed but it still works like new, one and only problem is its battery!

Open xda-developers.com and search huawei u8800. Go to "Ideos X5 U8800 Android Development" section. You will see CyanogenMod 10.1.1 v6.0. Install ROM and enjoy !

This phone is not a good phone as it has many faults after a period of time.
My sister and I both have/had this phone. Mine just went suddenly one day, froze and bricked itself. Yes I did all the anti virus etc as I know my phones. It worked after but all the apps force closed, wifi stopped connecting, crashing all the time and hardware was wiped even after system restore. Now its completely dead. A not even 2 year old phone. I replaced my battery and charger too. Stupid waste!
My sisters phone(This one) is starting to fail.
Here in NZ it was on the shelves for a short time then taken off fast, I'm thinking they knew it had a lot of faults with it.
I DO NOT recommend this phone. People may say "Ive had this phone and it works well" But after about a year - 2 years it will start to crash on you.
