it seems that on some website, the u8800 has a 4g internal version, and it is noted to have a front facing camera, anyone can confirm this? those who bought the one with 4gig internal mem included?

really? there's a bug in the wireless on WPA2 n... moreThe wifi system is fine for me, the so called "dropouts" is when the phone goes to Sleep Mode,it will disconnect the wifi to save battery.
It's set by default, a way to fix is go to Menu>settings>Wireless & networks>wifi settings THEN press menu again> press advanced>wifi sleep policy>choose “Never”.

this phone can get locked but it would b difficult as its a hardware locked phone......... and if u manage to get it unlocked the warranty expires too

Have you updated your phone to the latest version? (idk if there are "security updates" or "mini patches" windows / nokia phone style.. you know)

Its available here through a career and most likely it`ll be career locked. You`ll have to get it unlocked.
Ufone: has 3 models of Ideos, X5, and one more its not specified they have their own names here.
Zong: has IDEOS U8510 - im using it i dont like the small screen though battery time is just one day the rest is pretty good in the phone ..

Great phone, battery lasts for several days with phone idle.
Bug with WPA2 Wireless, Phone connects, disconnects, connects, disconnects.
Otherwise a great phone and great value for money.

battery life is EXTREMELY poor, which you would find on most smartphones, today i had 40% battery, and 5 hours later it was completely out and i hadnt even used it, i turned wifi, Bluetooth, satellites, and 3g off but its still drains battery so quickly
