Wow, is a perfect word to use for this phone. Its my first andriod phone and once again all i can say is wow. Well the South African version comes with an 8GB internal memory i mean what more do you want. Its super fast and there are thousands of downloadable applications for the phone. However the battery life is too short. All in all its a great phone and an excellent cash for value. Go for it you won't be dissappointed you'll be saying wow, wow day by day coz you discover something new everytime.

Cheema, 27 Feb 2011Hi Guys,
I just bought X5 today from 2 Degree shop in Au... moreCheema, you can search and download appz from the Android Market on the phone or using the Google Android website https://market.android.com/ but you do need a gmail account to download any app from the Market (I think ?? ).
As for the CD/PC software, Android phones dont come with any PC based software, when you plug in the USB cable to your PC you should only see a Mass Storage Device (ie a hard drive) like a USB pen drive, from there you can load music, pictures and data, just remember that Android will only really read mp3's and pictures. Also you could use the micro SD card that came with the phone but you will need to use the micro SD to normal size SD adaptor.Thats what's so great about Android, you can just load on music and pictures without going through any PC based software.
I would also recommend just doing a google search for something like "top 10 android apps", this will help you get a start on some good apps you need.

Hi Guys,
I just bought X5 today from 2 Degree shop in Auckland woth is $549. I am just checking all the features. It doesn't have FM radio. Rest of all features are quite good. Mobile doesn't look very solid body wise. But if your compare price then it's very good deal. Processing speed is quite good. I am just wondering they haven't give me any kind of CD/software to install on my PC. This is my first Andrioid phone, can you please guide where from i can download some apps and pc synch s/w. Your help will be appreated mate.
Cheers

AnonD-2064, 20 Feb 2011Does anyone know how much this will cost in Australia, I've... moreIn Finland this cost around 280-300 euro in retail, that would be 377-406 Australian dollars. But here you can also get it from an operator package and pay only 213 euro (which would be 288 Australian dollars). And (I assume) the price level is probably bit higher here so you can expect a bit lower prices in your country than the ones I provided.

Great phone , been using it for the past 3 months (got from Huawei ahead of release for type approving) only comments which applies to all the new phones : the Battery !! if you are a tech-savi person with a good data plan and actually use all the functionality and apps then your doomed ! this again applies to Nexsus, Samsung , Ericsson, HTC and any other phone that operates on Android .
