I bought the phone 4 days ago. Its rebranded Spice MI 410
It installed all apps perfectly,even the most popular ones. It has notification LED.
There multitouch issue in this phone. u can pinch to zoom well, pinch to rotate also works in two apps that i tested,though not 100% perfectly.
Camera is ok. Lacks night mode,macro mode etc. Video recording is 720p 30 fps.
The in call volume is low and the quality is not that good.
You get what u paid for. If u dont want to play games which require complex multitouch actions then this phone is fine.

actually, spice mi410 is a rebrand of huawei, its because huawei is for asian, while spice is for western

Hi, I have been using this phone for a week now.. It's the Spice Mi410.. pleasing looks.. very good on features. Can give tough competition to other brands. I just wanted to know that if I update this mobile with gingerbread update from cherry mobile, will it void the warranty ?

This Mobile is Value for Money. All in all, you wont regret buying this.
Have been using it very happily. Have Upgraded to Cherry Mobile Magnum HD with official Android 2.3.4.
Has Decent Battery Life (When compared to Xperia X10), Very good picture quality (for money we pay, dont compare with Amoled you wont like it)
Fast Enough to compare with Google Nexus one, and S (not S 2).
Display is not scratch proof or Glass display, so we may want to buy nice screen guard (be prepared).
We cant expect everything in world for peanuts right?

Is this phone detected by the Android market? I heard that some huawei phones are not detected by the android market and hence installing apps is difficult.
I am planning to buy the spice branded 'Spice Mi 410'

I got one from Spice telecom Mi-410 2 days back. Big specs at budget price (Rs 14000). Also 6 month EMI scheme from HDFC bank credit cards. Some things that struck me
- big nice screen, very readable outside also, but then I am new to smartphones with big screens, no previous experience
- Has a weird dark brown color and metal built which doesnt seem very strong. Am used to Nokia E71 build quality
- UI is snappy and typing is a hoot with swype. Will downloads other apps and see how it goes when I get time
- I felt battery life is not good. Maybe it is the large screen. Had a 1 hr conference yesterday (total about 2 hrs of talking whole day) and also Wifi was on whole day. It got discharged in one day. On my Nokia it used to last 3 days easily. Maybe smartphones with big screens do not last long. One good thing is that I can charge it from my laptop which is good enough for me.
- One major issue was that it is not so good in signal detection. At my home it is able to connect to network only sporadically. The Nokia used to show low signal but it would never drop signal altogether. If you are in low signal area then you might want to test it out before committing Rs 14000 on it.
Overall its a great experience when you have good signal and battery is full. Falling in love with android. Will try out Gingerbread hack after I see more people trying it out on this phone :D
