I had this not a good phone it kept lagging and closing apps by itself. I stopped using it end 2018 and now i have the huawei Y9 2019 this one though is a great phone

I have had many issues, with Garmin, everything needs to be the latest and greatest to be able to connect to the Garmin, not the phone it is the Garmin that has bad software.

Heehee, my classmate has this device. :-) In more serious notes I agree with other people's opinions, some of Huawei's Y series phones often crash and freeze in most times. Though I think the Y series are supposed to be a budget line of phones meaning they're not really meant for gaming. I'm typing this on Huawei y5 lite

A good phone!
I like it's battery capacity and some of it's unique functions which most people haven't found yet. But for to reduce cases of freezing and CPU overheating, just insert a media card.

This is the worst phone I ever had, it freezes on the simplest games, it switches off on its own from time to time, it freezes regularly on facebook and Instagram, the camera isn't to great and the internal storage running low error is driving me mad.

Look it needed work and huawei did do there homework. But to real this phone is better than a lot of laptop. It'ss great,easy to use and pretty nifty. I give it a 7 outta 10

It will run out of storage and 1 GB ram is nothing nowadays. From the price I would rather buy a Redmi 8a which is perfect for daily use, has much better screen, camera, battery, and 3 GB RAM/32 GB storage. If you find it too large and your father does not know about one handed mode, think about a 7a or Redmi Go (even cheaper). There may be other phones with better hardware but many chinese and other manufacturers don't offer such good overall quality, support, guarantee and there can be malwares in the system or they won't be shipping the products (e. g. The Escobar Fold).
