I am using this phone for 18 months
my big problem with this phone is its internal memory
it's 8Gb but the available memory for my is 4Gb which isn't good you can install few apps and you will getting a warning that no more space so its annoying
the radio fm on this phone is the worst experience
you will not receive any updates from huawei so you will stuck at android 5.1 with EMUI 3.1 Lite
the battery is very bad i know it's just 2100 but it drops so fast event with wifi only
the good things about this phone
it's a budget phone for 100 euro which runs 4G connections
the apps runs good except for the official facebook apps which is lags
the gaming is good using this phone
don't expect so much things from a budget phone

my Huawei y3 II is a l21 version it runs asphalt 8 with lag but doesn't change the graphics so it lags a lot
but my friend has the u22 model and it runs perfectly fine on his phone what to do?

Is there anyone who has updated y3ii(3G) from lollipop to marshmallow?
If yes then please let me know, how it's working.

I really like this phone but there is just one problem... The red hues in all the apps and home screen are purple. I don't know if I can fix it but, but I need help. Does anyone know what to do?

The phone isn't that bad for budget users but it is quite (very) slow when apps are updated to their latest versions. The camera is okay for an urgent matter (like taking a photo and sending an email). Huawei claims that this phone has a total 8.00GB of internal storage but unfortunately it is actually 4.13GB. The screen consumes way too much battery and the display isn't comparable to a Samsung one (or even a Xiaomi which is a low budget phone). Apps like Facebook are very slow and they always lag. It is recommended to download Google Keyboard app for a better keyboard. However, surprisingly large apps (games more specifically) work perfectly (Ex:-NFS13 [Need for Speed Most Wanted] and WWE 2K [WWE 2K15]. By the way, PSP games don't work very well. Furthermore, it would be better to have an SD Card (16GB for example to move all apps into it and save internal storage). The rainbow light in this is super cool and it is allowed to be changed by the app "Rainbow Light". An English dictionary app is missing in this phone. A factory designed rubber and plastic mixed protection cover is also available in the market. The sound system is brilliant and with all these features included with the drawbacks, personally I suggest the Huawei Y3II LUA-U22 for a budget smart phone user.

One of the results should be from the Huawei website directly. Download the ROM. From previous experience with Stock ROMs, you should have to unzip the main file, and one of the contents should be a PDF with instructions on how to go about reloading your ROM.

Otherwise, download the file & search on You Tube for how to go about reloading a Stock ROM for the model you have. Even if You Tube results aren't for your exact phone, a similar one will give you a good indication on how to go about it.

Alternatively, search online for how to root your phone & load a Custom ROM on afterwards. XDA Developers and/or Modaco should or might have options for your phone.
