mehdi, 28 Nov 2015The Huawei site says this has 8 GB ROM http://consumer.hu... moreDear Mahdi I've heard some experts talking about the possibility of the other 4 gig being used as a partition system data, set aside exclusively for system files, but on the other hand I've also heard another possibility that sounds more like a damaging rumor against Huawei which I'd rather not spreading it since it sounds like a far fetched conspiracy theory!. However the possibility of manufacturing flaws could sound more reasonable if the other 4 gig is either hidden or missing. I just wish Huawei's official site would respond to these questions regarding these similar issues more frequently since I like this brand's smart phones particularly.

N... moreTo Vinny; I'm a Huawei fan but on these issues I have to admit that they let me down specially about it's back button and notification light. I hope they take customer's responses more seriously to correct their manufacturing management for such a good brand name.

I have notice an unresponsive back button. My only criticism is low volume through headphones, any headphones.
I normally detest huawei products, and stay away from this manufacturer. However, this is a rock solid excellent device. It has a better ballanced pure white display than my Gallaxy S6.
Love the interface with it's homescreens and launcher. Does not like you installing other launchers as cannot clear defaults, or set home. Apart from that a total bargain, and fantastic device.

This phone actually have 8GB Internal.
The userdata partition is limited to 4GB or least because the other storage is reserved to system partition. Stop confusing the userdata (which is the reserved space for storing your files, musics, videos, photos, documents, apps, games etc.) with the whole EMMC capacity!

Bought on Thursday, Screen shots are a pain in the A..e ! No indicator light even though it's in the menu!..back button unresponsive at times, not 8g storage as advertising says, Rubbish phone!!

According to the specifications written in Huawei's site, it has 8 GB internal storage, not 4 GB.

Nice 4g phone... and no heat when charging or playing online games thats like clash of clan.. one weak point is sec sim is only 2g... grand prime is better then. but one advantage is 4g
